Roadshow Pictures was born from a striking realization. After fifteen years of running Crested Butte Film Festival, we realized there was a problem. Despite our monthly and annual presentations of films, we found that economic, cultural, and language barriers prevented certain audiences from attending our films. We believe films should be available for everyone, so we created a new vehicle to help bring films to these audiences: Roadshow Pictures. 

Roadshow Pictures endeavors to change the film landscape by changing who gets to see festival-quality films. We work directly with individuals, organizations, state funding agencies, private businesses and local venues to make seeing films more democratic - offering them to everyone. We're focused on delivering world-class films to local people and becoming the link for international filmmakers to reach underserved audiences. We're Boulder-based but reach throughout the state.

Our current program is two award-winning feature films that have not had a theatrical release on the Front Range, and a program of Spanish-language short films, which has already received private funding to show to under-served audiences in Colorado beginning the summer of 2026.
